This expedition will take you to three interesting countries: Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. All of them border each other and they share the legacy of the ancient Mayan civilization. At the same time they differ from each other in many respects.
We will visit colonial cities and the pre-Hispanic ruins of the Mayan civilization. Also we are going to enjoy the mountain towns such as San Cristobal de las Casas and the fabulous islands of the Caribbean. Our visits to the sacred Tikal and Palenque will remain in your memory forever.

Day 1 Mexico City
Welcome at the airport in Mexico City. Transfer and accommodation. Overnight in Mexico City.
Day 2 Mexico City
Panoramic drive to the Zocalo. Visit the Metropolitan Cathedral and Presidential Palace, where we can admire the frescoes of Diego Rivera. Visit the Square of the Three Cultures, and the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Transfer to Teotihuacan and explore: Pyramid of the Sun, Pyramid of the Moon, the Temple of Winged Serpent, The Avenue of the Dead. Overnight in Mexico City.
Day 3 Oaxaca
Drive throughout the picturesque mountains to the city of Oaxaca. Visit the charming Old Town with fascinating colonial buildings. Stop by in a local pub with music. Overnight in Oaxaca.
Day 4 Monte Alban
Drive to the surrounding hill, at the top of which is the ancient Zapotec city, Monte Alban. Overnight in Oaxaca.
Day 5 Tuxtla Gutierrez - Sumidero
Ride among the mountainous landscapes to Tuxtla Gutierrez. Overnight in Sumidero.
Day 6 Sumidero Canyon - San Cristobal de las Casas
Cruise by motor boats on the river in Sumidero Canyon. Sumidero offers dramatic scenery and lush tropical vegetation. Stop at the point where the highest cliff reaches a height of 1000 meters. Observation of crocodiles and water birds. Panoramic drive to one of the most popular cities in colonial Mexico, San Cristobal de las Casas. Night out on the old town and visit to the nightclub. Overnight in San Cristobal de las Casas.
Day 7 San Cristobal de las Casas
Spend the day exploring and getting to know this unique city. Also visit the Indian villages of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan. Overnight in San Cristobal.
Day 8 San Cristobal de las Casas - Palenque
Drive among the green mountains of Chiapas to the ancient Mayan city of Palenque. Overnight in Palenque.
Day 9 Palenque
Visit the archaeological zone: Temple of the Inscriptions, Temple of the Red Queen, Temple of the Cross, Observatory, Palace of the Governors. Overnight in Palenque.
Day 10 Palenque - El Naranjo
Full day trip throughout the tropical jungle to the town of Tenosique. Overnight in Tenosique.
Day 11 El Naranjo - Flores
Transfer to Flores; a beautifully located on the Peten Lake Island. Overnight in Flores.
Day 12 Flores - Tikal - Flores
Visit the famous archeological site of Tikal. The Mayan ruins contain one of the oldest and tallest pyramids in Mezo-America. Enjoy the full day excursion to the lost in jungle ancient city. Climb the highest pyramid and stop by the Great Acropolis; a sacred building and the burial place of chefs. Visit Plaza of the Seven Temples, Temple of the Inscriptions. Back to Flores and overnight.
Day 13 San Ignacio
Travel by the classic bus from the 70's; to San Ignacio. Kayaking down the river among the rich tropical environment. Observe local flora and fauna. An evening walk around the city. Overnight in San Ignacio.
Day 14 Caye Caulker
Transfer to Belize City and cruse by boat to the small coral island of Caye Caulker. Explore the Caribbean island and relax on the beach. Overnight stay in Caye Caulker.
Day 15 Caye Caulker - Tulum
Rest on the beautiful white beaches. Swim in the warm turquoise water. Transfer to Tulum and overnight.
Day 16 Tulum
Stroll the archaeological zone of Tulum, which is beautifully situated on a high cliff. Swim in the turquoise sea. Night out at local bar with music. Overnight stay in Tulum.
Day 17 Tulum - Cancun - Mexico City
Morning relax on white beaches. Transfer to the Cancun airport to take a flight to Mexico City. Overnight in Mexico City.
Day 18 Mexico City
Transfer to the airport and departure from Mexico.
